The " Verify Access" feature is a powerful tool in Super that allows Admins to manage and verify document access within their organization. This feature is particularly useful for troubleshooting issues related to document access and ensuring that sensitive information is appropriately shared.
What Does the "Verify Access" Tool Do?
The "Verify Access" tool allows admins to:
View Document Details: Admins can view a documents ID, last indexed timestamp, and last crawled timestamp.
Check Document Access: Admins can verify which users have access to a specific document in Super. This is useful for troubleshooting when a user can't find a given document in Super.
How to Use "Verify Access"
To use the "Verify Access" tool, follow these steps:

Navigate Workspace Settings > Manage Search > Verify Access.

If you know the Document ID, input it directly. If you don't know the Document ID, click on "Find the document ID". This will open Super Search, prompting you to find the document then click "Add ID" to populate the Document ID.

After inputting the Document ID, you will be able to see the title of the document (only if you have access to the document), the Document ID, the datasource, last indexed time, and last crawl time.

To check if a user has access to a document, input the email of the user in the "Verify access" section then click "Verify".

The "Name" and "Access" column will update accordingly and show if the user has "Full access" or "No access" to the document.
What is "I can't access this document or am unsure"?
The option "I can't access this document or am unsure" can be used by Super Admins to find the ID of a document they don't have access to or don't know if they have access to. Only Super Admins have access to this feature for the purpose of validating user access to documents.
How it works:
- When you click on "I can't access this document or am unsure", you will be directed to Super Search in a new tab.
- Search for the document you are interested in and hover over the result to copy the ID.
- Once copied, navigate back to the "Verify Access" page and paste the ID in the Document ID field to check a user's access.
Please note that this feature is only available to Admins.
